EVENTS
As Resilience and Recovery Studies, we engage with people through our projects to scientifically understand, support, and strengthen the psychological resilience that individuals and communities develop against traumatic life events, stressors, and situations of vulnerability.
From Generation to Generation Workshop: Nursing Home
We organized the "From Generation to Generation" workshop to strengthen the psychological resilience of individuals over the age of 65 living in nursing homes, to enable them to share their life experiences, and to encourage intergenerational interaction.

From Generation to Generation Workshops: Çatalhöyük
In collaboration with Studio Cultia, we brought families together for a trip to Çatalhöyük. We visited the Çatalhöyük archaeological site, dating back to 7000 BC. Afterwards, parents and children embarked on a journey to their roots through "From Generation to Generation Workshops," discovering their own sources of psychological resilience. Children searched for motifs in kilims, one of Anatolia's most important means of cultural transmission, and gave each motif a name. In this way, a cultural transmission from the past to the present, from older generations to the new generation, took place in a fun way. Finally, the children cooked with Chef Can Duru using local ingredients. At the end of three days, the families completed a deep and enjoyable journey of discovery about the past, cultural values, and resources, strengthening their connection with the present.

From Generation to Generation Workshops: Eyüpsultan Municipality
The "From Generation to Generation Workshops: Psychological Resilience with Mothers" program, organized in collaboration with Eyüpsultan Municipality, continued for four weeks at Istanbul Bilgi University. In the workshops, we worked together with mothers on the difficulties they face, the ways they cope with these difficulties, and the impact of intergenerational transmission on the motherhood experience. Thus, we worked to help mothers develop a strong awareness of their own transmission processes while recognizing the resources that will improve their psychological resilience.

From Generation to Generation Workshops: University Students
To contribute to the psychological resilience of university students, we conducted four-session From Generation to Generation workshops with 10 university students between the ages of 18-25.
